I used to have a “progress” page full of my weight loss stats and info about my goals. Then I broke up with my body and my mind and started over.
So now I think it’s important that I share the things that I think are worth repeating. Posts and sites that I think other people should read and think about. Posts that make me cry, get angry, or laugh out loud. Posts that celebrate and debate, inspire and anger. Things I’ve written and things other people have written.
Start with my breakup post. It’s important to me, and I think it’s going to change my life.
Not long after the breakup, I wrote a letter to my body and decided to stop actively seeking to lose weight.
In the summer/fall of 2008, I started Marianne’s Awesome Plan of Awesomeness, and started focusing more on self-care.
