NaBloPoMo: S is for Setting a Goal


For the month of November, I’ll be participating in NaBloPoMo. This means a blog post every single day! To give myself some help coming up with 30 posts, I’m going to follow a pattern. Monday through Saturday each week, I will blog on a letter of the alphabet; Sundays will be whatever I come up with! You can read all my NaBloPoMo alphabet posts here and the Sunday posts here.

S is for setting a goal!

My December Fitness magazine came yesterday, and as usual, I had a great time flipping through it. This month, one of the features is a set of 15 minute workouts that burn fat, tone muscles and de-stress you.

The idea is to do at least one of them each day for six weeks, with one day off each week. Six weeks from now is right about New Year’s Eve, so it’s a great plan to help survive the craziness of the holidays and keep the exercise manageable.

15 minutes a day? Heck I can do that! It’s hard to make excuses about 15 minutes a day.

So my new goal for the next six weeks is to get through this program. If all goes well, hopefully I’ll drop a few pounds and (even better!) a few inches in time for the Boxing Day and post-holiday sales!
