Water water everywhere!
Goal #1 is done! I had my 64oz of water every day last week, which was a nice way to start off this new strategy.
Do you ever find that when you are focusing on something, suddenly it is everywhere? Elastic Waist had a two posts (here and here) about drinking enough water. After my spa [...]

So far so good!
So I’m five days into my first weekly goal, and so far, so good. I’ve been getting my water in slowly but surely throughout the day. It’s not making a huge difference, because I was probably getting 40+ ounces a day without making an issue of it, but my skin is certainly happier!
You’ll notice two [...]

NaBloPoMo?
I’m thinking of doing NaBloPoMo; I could never ever do NaNoWriMo, and I think this is a neat alternative option. You commit to blogging every single day in November, rather than writing a novel.
I wonder if this would help me commit to blogging more, and to using this as a space to be accountable to [...]

Confession
Forgive me, readers, for I have sinned.
I am not so concerned with what I have or have not done in the last couple of weeks. I am more concerned with my inability to take responsibility. I don’t need to confess to you, or to the other posters on the 3FC boards; I do need to [...]

So here’s the truth, everybody: climate change freaks me out. Big time.
I’ve always been fascinated by natural disasters – earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, the whole lot. [...]

Wow.
So I took my first dose of Dexedrine today.
Wow.
I feel better than I have in months. It’s like my body is finally awake again and my brain fog has lifted. I can concentrate and react quickly.
But, I definitely understand why amphetamines are called “speed” now – I feel a little like I’m on [...]

Speed.
Well, baby-speed.
That’s what I get to take for the next two weeks to see if it helps with my fatigue. We’ve ruled out thyroid disorders, anemia, diabetes and depression. So while we venture deeper into guessing-game territory, my doctor has prescribed me a drug called Dexedrine, aka dexamphetamine. It’s a stimulant typically prescribed for AD(H)D [...]

Fifteen dollars.
One of my favourite websites has long been TomatoNation. Sars is hilarious, and her writing frequently makes me laugh so hard I think I might pee myself. I am no longer allowing myself to read her cat-related posts at work because they make me cry and squeak from trying to hold in the laughter.
Sars also [...]

Stuff: Pedometers
Occasionally, I’ll be writing about the products I try or use in my quest for a healthier lifestyle. These are NOT provoked or supported by any of the companies whose products I may write about; they are simply things I’ve tried and either found useful or bunk. You can find previous product reviews under the [...]
